The race is held instead of the 24OB relay race. We had to move the restart of the legendary race to 2022. However, we would like to invite you to new maps of one of the most interesting terrains in the Czech Republic. We have prepared for you a one- or two-course tasting of twenty-four...

TYPE OF RACE

Covid-Individual race in daily orienteering for children, adults, veterans, interval start. Covid-Individual race in night orienteering, interval start. The races take place according to the valid OB rules. If you fulfill the conditions of TEAM 24 OB in the individual race, we will count your results in the "relay" total race.

CATEGORY

daily routes: T4 - T5 - T6 - T7 length approx. T4 - 4 km, T5 - 5 km, T6 - 6 km, T7 - 7 km

night/twilight courses: T4 - NT5 - T6 - NT7 (T4, T6 are identical courses to the day race!) length approx. T4 - 4 km, NT5 - 5 km, T6 - 6 km, NT7 - 7 km

children's tracks: K2 - K3 - K3,5 - K4 (tracks at the level of cat. H10, D12, H12, D14 - available during the day, at dusk, and at night)

TEAM 24 OB (adults) - 6 competitors (at least two women and one veteran or teenager). The team competition counts the sum of the best results from all six courses (T4, T5, T6, T7, NT5, NT7). The T4 and T6 courses, which are written for day and night races, can be completed by the team during the day and/or at night. But no one may run the same course twice. (Night course racers can run before and during the day, but a different course.)

TEAM 24 OB (children) - 4-6 competitors max. cat DH14 (at least two girls and two DH12 or younger must be in the team). The sum of the fastest times on individual tracks is calculated. The tracks can also be run at night. No one may run the same course twice.

MAP

Houpačka 1:10,000, E 5 m, condition spring 2020, authors Milan Borovička, Roman Horký, Petr Cigoš, Pavel Kurfürst key ISOM 2017. Size A4, laser print. The map will not be waterproofed.

TERRAIN Undulating, vegetation fragmented with a medium density of roads, terrain details and stones in a large part of the area.

CAMPING The electronic method of stamping SportIdent checks will be used.

APPLICATIONS

Until Wednesday, June 10, 2020 23:59:59 via oris (track registration) and at the same time the web form (starting card). Those interested in the daily race must first sign up for the "starter" for the daily race, and then register in ORIS for the daily race. Similarly, those interested in night tracks first write in the "start sheet" for night tracks, and then register in ORIS for the night race. (The reason is the limited capacity of the starters in the individual categories). During the day, the starting interval is 3 minutes, a maximum of 120 competitors are allowed in the category. At night, the starting interval is 2 minutes, 90 competitors are allowed to start in the category.) You register for TEAM 24 OB as an individual in ORIS - please enter the name of the team in the note. Please enter the name of the team and the roster (see * legend/explanation at the end of the schedule) in the form below. In case of lack of space in the starting list, contact us: prihlasky@fspraha.cz. For TEAM 24 OB, we will keep vacancies in the starting list.

Deposits are per individual/track. There is no extra charge for the TEAM competition. Pay by Monday 15 June 2020 to account no. 162614339/0800, variable symbol 27nnnn, where nnnn is the section number in the ČSOS directory. 

RESULTS

Online only on the website. The winners of the TEAM 24 OB (adults), TEAM 24 OB (children) competition win a free entry fee voucher for the postponed 24OB race in 2022. All participating team members can pick up eco-trendy cups at other races.

NOTICE

We are holding the race in the mode of epidemiological measures. Arrived - ran - left - enjoyed the results online. Please come to your start, run the course and don't cluster unnecessarily. Mobile toilets with disinfection will be in the parking lot, refreshments will not be. Basically, there is no presentation, just a few organizers for organizing the start and finish, disinfecting the toilets, etc. There is a nice tank for individual swimming near the parking lot. The race will take place according to the currently valid covid measures.

LEGEND/INSTRUCTIONS/EXPLANATION HOW TO TEAM 24 OB (ADULTS), TEAM 24 OB (KIDS)

The purely fictitious Lahvacove místó.cz team consisting of Monika (female), Bára (female), Štěpán, Ondřej, Kuba, Pakuo (veteran, could be a junior, but is not) goes to Germany every two years for 24 OBs. In Germany, it is traditionally a big club holiday with thousands of participants and a high-quality cast, but because Lahvac's team has good tactics and smart girls, it is always on the big box.

This year, they wanted to run a "Czech twenty-four hour race", but Covid was against it. Although the organizers have prepared an alternative program... They tried a video-o-game, they are running a Strava race, and now there will finally be a tasting right on the Swing.

During the day, except for the night specialist Pakua, we will all go for a run. We sign up for the starting line somewhere near us and then sign up for: T4 – Ondra (he saves money because he wants to run at night and watches over the children so that they arrive on time for the start), T5 – Bára (he will also run at night), T6 – Monika (he will not run in the evening, but will chase the children into the forest), T7 Štěpán (he will not run in the evening because it is the Premiere League), Jakub (he will also run at night because he is catching up on the lack of training due to the baby, daily won't go to full capacity, but if Štěpán does it, it's a certain insurance).

At night, Ondra brings the children by car. He doesn't mind that the boys will run after dark, he will try to beat Monika at T6. That is why he signed up for the start of the race (and registered with Oris) very early. So we have the tracks spread out like this: T4 - Bára (she ran T5 during the day, she likes to run around midnight, so she will try to improve Ondra's daily performance in pitch-black darkness. She will probably succeed.) NT5 - Pakuo (she will also run around midnight, because it suits her and maybe she will meet Bára somewhere in the forest). T6 - Ondra (he ran T4 during the day, signed up for the twilight, but he still won't be able to improve Monika's performance), NT7 - Kuba (he can be relied on; Štěpán could still run, but he's looking at Liverpool and he's a hoof anyway, so it doesn't matter).

Dětské lahvacové místo.cz consists of Theo (H10), Elenka (D12), Matouš (H12), Nikola (H14), Julie (D14). K2 Theo will run during the day; K3 Elenka, Theo; K3,5 Matthew; K4 Nikola. At night, then K4 Matouš, K2 Nikola. So hopefully the organizers will calculate the sum of the fastest times for us...
